My name is Karoline Huth. I am a PhD student at the Center for Urban Mental Health of the UvA. I am affiliated with the Department of Psychiatry of the Amsterdam UMC (UvA) and the Department of Psychological Methods (UvA). Within the AIAR I study how depressive symptoms influence and change addiction symptoms over the course of the treatment period. In addition, I investigate how ethnic and socioeconomic variables relate to addiction symptoms. I am active within the research line Innovations in healthcare and healthcare research.
My supervisors at the AIAR are Dr. Ruth van Holst and Prof. Dr. Anneke Goudriaan. Dr Judy Luigjes is involved in the Amsterdam UMC‘s psychiatry department and Dr Maarten Marsman from the psychological methods department.
