Mission

Our mission is to conduct innovative research, building bridges between innovative research methods and clinical practice. We do this in the Academic Workplace Addiction within four lines of research. Innovation in healthcare and implementation is central to some lines of research; within other research lines there is more emphasis on (fundamental) research.

  1. Effects of new treatment methods for addiction, for example the treatment of addiction and comorbid problems
  2. Basic/experimental research, focusing on the mechanisms of action of addiction
  3. Mechanisms and implementation of E-Health
  4. Innovations in healthcare and healthcare research. Improvements in care, such as policy research, evaluation of standard care and the use of routine outcome management (ROM)
